2011 Never Summer SL - Vario Power Grip

I just picked up a 2011 Never Summer SL (155) but wanted to get some input about the Vario Power Grip. I currently have a 2010 Lib Tech TRS (154) and love it. The BTX really makes it so easy to turn and maintain an edge; and I have no fear bombing down the mountain. I used to ride the Ride Concept UL (159) and I was much faster and had more control on the TRS. The Ride Concept UL has been collecting dust since.

My snowboarding addiction then led me to get the NS SL. So I guess I wanted to get some input on how people felt about the Vario Power Grip. Last thing I want would be missing the Lib Tech TRS BTX.

the vario is less grabby and more forgiving than MTX but still is great at railing some cheek scraping carves. These boards are very comparable. you'll love it. no worries

It's not at all the same. Vario does very little, while MTX does alot. Most hybrid rocker boards already have extra contact points by design.
