Skateboard rail

I want to make a backyard park this year and i was wondering if skate rails can be used as snowboarding rails. Anyone had experience with this?

They work, just make sure you pop high enough so you don't take chunks out of your board cause they're usually hollow. The two piece ones are usually no good, but the one piece ones work well.

IMO skate rails are overpriced and most would be really short for snowboarding.

One of these Shop Rot Free 3/4 x 3-1/2 x 8 PVC Smooth/Textured Trim Board at Lowes.com and a couple of wood 2x4's and you will have something that is pretty good for under $20.
