is a snowboard for snowboarding really necessary?

I'm going to Aspen for the first time in a few weeks.

I've never been snowboarding before.

I'm just trying to figure out what I really need to buy before my trip....

I would start off by buying a nice set of skis.

So many runs so little time.

No, just get a monoski.

Then you can wag your ass back and forth all day long.
