So last week in the trees while making an evasive manuever, I managers to impale my newish mittens(love them as opposed to gloves!)on a tree, leaving a stigmata like hole in the palm. I stitched it up and put some silicon sealant on the seams. It worked ok for 4 days riding but it is peeling off now.
DO any of you know of any durable/flexible/cold resistant sealants/patches I can use to waterproof the stiching? thanks |

Ive used fabric glue (available at fabric shops or even MallMart) for a few different things, and its worked really well for me. The airlines tore a couple holes through my snowboard back and I used this glue and some nylon strap pieces to patch it up -- still holding several trips later! Havent even had to reglue. The glue also works great for patches on jackets and such - great for that biker look youve always wanted!
