Ok so im sick of taking my board in to wax. What do u guys like better, hot wax w/ iron or is the rub on wax ok? Iv heard good things about the swix f4 rub on wax and was curious for some opinions. I'm assuming the machine wax iv been getting is rub on wax?? Any how tos would help alot to for the rub on wax, thanks guys.

Ya, iv been doing alot of reading and realizing hot wax is the way to go... hot wax it is..just one question then..i noticed you need to scrape all excess wax off after your done so do you need to scrape the old stuff off before you put new wax on or no? I'm assuming the only time scraping is needed is when u put new wax on?

Get a brass brush and run it lengthwise. that should get the old wax out. Or you can hot scrape, meaning that you scrape the wax off while it's still hot. Also you can get base cleaner but it's not essential.

Check out this thread for everything you need to know about waxing. Follow the video's that Snowolf put up and you should be good to go.
And yea rub on wax=taking your money and spreading it around the snow. |

Thanks guys, ya I actually did a search on the forums & found snowolfs videos & a few waxing threads that had all the info I needed. Go ahead & either delete this thread or ignore it..sorry for the double thread here I should have searched first like I normally do, thanks guys!
