Not sure what you mean by tech section, there is a section dedicated to bindings though. As far as mounting your cartels, it's just like any other 4 hole pattern binding. Youtube will probably have some videos if you want to see someone do it first, but basically if you know how to use a screwdriver you should be able to do it. Just hand tighten and you shouldn't have to worry about over tightening.

When it comes to mounting bindings, as said, hand tighten so they don't strip. Tighten in a figure eight a few times to be sure they are all equally tight and be sure to use some sort of thread lock. If the bindings are new the screws probably came with blue thread lock on them. There is a sticky about board maintenance in the Tips, Tricks & Instructors forum.

Gotcha guys..what I was wondering was do you remove the whole footbed padding section..screw it down then slip it back on..or leave it on, on the toe section then lift up like the flap of the footbed, then screw it down and snap the footbed section back down..that was the way i did it, it worked, not sure if it was correct, but have no issues. Assuming that is right, or is there an easier way, if any new Cartel owner can answer.
Thanks |
