I'm going to be in Aspen next weekend. It's my first time to attempt to snowboard.
I want to rent a snowboard when I get there. I think that I may try 1 snowboard on my first day and then try another snowboard on my second day. Do you have any advice on where I should rent a snowboard? My hotel is actually in Snowmass so I'm not sure if I can rent snowboards a little cheaper in Snowmass as compared to Aspen. Also, how much should I expect to pay for a snowboard rental in Aspen/Snowmass? |

When you get there. Just ask a few locals where the local shops are and the better places to rent equipment. If it is your first time snowboarding, then switching boards will do absolutely NOTHING for you.
I would be extremely surprised if you were linking turns by the end of the day, much less being able to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the board you are riding. Relax. There will be plenty of shops renting boards. It would make more sense to rent a board close to where you are staying, so that it is less of a logistic hassle to pick it up and return it. |

ru obsessive compulsive....take your medications....relax and have fun. Its an adventure...can't have everything planned out; if something doesn't go according to plan...don't want to be freaking and tweaking.
