Anyone else think Transworlds annual ridrs poll is completely bullshit? I mean In Color movie of the year? Didn't they see Storming? And the three nominees for mens rider of the year: Gigi Ruf, John Jackson, and Dan Brisse? I'm not even sure if they'd win Video part of the year

Storming is typical Standard CRAP!

Torstein hands down...the guy is way ahead of everybody. Has one of the best movie parts and competes, and podiums, at all the major comps throughout the year. He's the best jumper and has legit jib skills. It's one thing to be well rounded, but Torstein excels at everything.

Ruf had a solid part in 9191 but no way is he the standout this year. He said himself he stayed in his comfort zone all year and I think it shows in his video parts. Smooth, technical and big but not something we haven't seen before.
Torstein is killing it but he's still not going that big in the backcountry nor is his jibbing up there with the top jib guys. Brisse is a bigger and sicker all rounder. Props to Horgmo for the first triple but that's not enough to get you rider of the year award IMO. I really would like to see him step out into the backcountry and away from competitions and see what he can make himself into out there. Still Brisse for me but I really want to see John J's part in FIT. Expect John J or TRice will be picking it up next year when the new Brainfarm movie comes out. Hearing enough hype about it already...
