college/ski resort/ moving help

I'm looking to move up north somewhere, where i'll be able to attend college and be close to a ski resort. So i was hoping to get some suggestions as to where some good places would be to look into.
Currentlying Im attending a community college and my plan is to accumalate as many credits as possible before switching into a university. I would like to move somewhere that has a good community college, and possible a good university with in the same area but also that is close to a ski resort.
It doesnt have to best a top notch ski resort but i would like it to be a pretty decent resort where the season last awhile. So if anyone has suggestions plz let me know.
Im more concerned with what colleges will be avaible to attend then being by a high end resort.
thanks in advance.

I always thought universities were selected based on course offerings and academic reputation
