Ok so here's the deal. I am a college student who has a serious budget for everything. My parents happen to own a timeshare and as a gift they got me and whoever I want to bring along (probably only 1 or 2 other ppl) a week's stay in Vail, CO. I'm from cleveland so we are going to have to fly out there. Flight cost aside, the costs of the lift tickets and the van from Denver airport to Avon are a real killer on my budget. It seems like a ton of money to pay $150 round trip to and from the airport. I need ideas to make this cheaper because the airfare and the lift tickets are two things that I can't get any cheaper. Our trip will be from March 5 to March 12. I need some tips! thanks.

$150 for the entire van, or per person? If it's for the entire van, that sounds pretty reasonable split three ways. Regardless, you HAVE to find a way to make it work. One week in Vail? Hell yeah!!!

Take the grey route from the air port to the transfer center in Denver then it's 16.25 one way to take the greyhound to Avon. From there you'll hop the eagle county bus system to wherever you need to go.
