Default Mixing Freeride and All Mountain equipment

Hi everyone, just want to say thank you in advance to anyone that comments

I have both all mountain board and all mountain bindings. But i would like a little bit more responsiveness on the days that I know I wont be hitting jumps or jibbing.

Can i just slap a pair of freeride bindings on my board to get this effect. Or is it a bad idea to mix all mountain board with freeride bindings?

of course you can. Obviously it would be ideal to have a freeride board/binding setup, but a stiffer freeride binding will give you more response on any board.
