Default Newish rider going alone?

Have off Tuesday and thinking about going alone since my friends aren't off. When I told my friends about this, they all said it was dangerous. I don't see how the danger level increases if I'm riding with friends or alone. I've gone 5 times and will be staying on the greens and blues at Mountain Creek in NJ. Whats the forum say on a new rider going alone?

Go and have fun. I went quite a bit alone, still do from time to time. My friends had years of experience and I wanted to catch up. More time on the mountain is better, you are not going to get into in trouble on your mountain. Have fun...BR

The only place going alone/not going alone as a safety precaution is backcountry/glades really. At a ski hill it's just preference. I like dividing my time between alone/with friends.

I ride resort/gated access sidecountry alone all the time. Midweek riding solo are always the best days.

Go alone, just don't go deep into the trees or out of bounds. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm more likely to do stuff if I'm with friends that I would not have done alone.

This is my first season riding - was definitely nice to go alone some days just because I don't feel like I'm holding my friends back while I hung out on the bunny hill or greens all day. If you're just riding groomers, there should be no problem.

Like everyone else said just go alone. Theres enough people and ski patrols around that if anything should happen youll be alrite. I enjoy going alone, it gives u a sorta peacefullness knowing your not being waited on or something.
Life is a giant high five, huck it every chance you get.

I've ridden by myself on Mt Creek, You should be fine by yourself on greens and blues.
