do you think that would be a smart idea? theres this "bamboo forest" near my house. instead of getting a pvc pipe, would cutting down some bamboo, maybe waxing it, and using it as a rail be a smart alternative then buying pvc.

does lumberjacking literally mean taking wood?!?! and idc about that, its a plentyful forest. i just care if my board will slide and it wont mess my board up.

Anything you slide across can potentially damage you board. Just sand it down smooth so there's nothing for your board to catch on and go for it.
