My boy has now completed his own maintenance on his board 3 times. This makes me happy. Now I only need to teach the other boy to do his and we can then all maintain our own equipment. He did a good job and oversaw him, he did just fine.
He understands the importance of maintaining your own equipment is part of riding. He even inspects the bindings for wear, loose bolts or cracks and such. Not just the joy of dad driving you to the hill.
