What everyday features do you think about riding?

I just moved to a new town and I've developed a habit that I can't shake: I'm keeping an eye out for places and features I would like to randomly ride. There's no snow out right now. There sure as hell isn't any vertical drop and there isn't a snowmobile for miles to drag me along. There's just some interesting architecture here and there.

I know I can't be alone in this. For those of you who don't work at mountains, what everyday features do you wish you could ride?

Not so much features but in the summer I hike a lot of the mountain around Banff. It drives my GF mad as all I talk about is how the mountain we were hiking would be great to snowboard on!

So many runs so little time.
