Default Weather, Should I go?

Ok, well it has been 3 weeks since my last/first visit to the slopes and I am so ready to hit them up again. I haven't been since then because the weather has been so crappy. I finally am saying screw this and I am going up this friday, especially when next friday doesn't look to good either and its nearing the end of season. I have talked two of my friends who have never snowboarded into going as well. I wanted to see what you guys thought of my decision, just curious, because no matter what, I am pretty sure I am going. Here is the weather outlook for the slope that I am going to.

Appalachian Snow, Ski Report and Forecast Boone, North Carolina

and then here is the one directly linked for the slopes actual site (which is a local weather site I believe and the temperatures are always a little lower compared to the weather channels temperatures..

Well I see rain in that forecast but hey, if a mountain is open and that's what you have to deal with, just go. I went on our opening day when they only had one run that was 25ft wide and about 1/4 mile long opened up. It wasn't where I have my pass so I had to pay like $42 but I didn't give a shit, its snowboarding. Do it, get some pics and get back to us.

I would go they seem to have a 68" base and temps in the 50's and near 60 by friday which would give you Slushy conditions..which are nice for your freinds to learn on.Hell could be worst and you could live here in northern NJ which we had 3" of snow last night, all to turn to slush cause its be raining heavy since early this morning. which caused our local Mountain to be closed today with there 15" base. But I'll be in vermont next week so cant complain.

2nd day boarding and you're thinking about going into the park?

Do yourself and the people in the park a favor and think about that.

man, i was fine the first day, rode the black diamond fine. When I skateboard I can skate everything, rails, half pipes, whatever is in the park. i realize snowboarding and skateboarding are two diffrent things, but they also have there similarities, so i think ill be straight. when i actually get up on a rail, balance can't be that much different, and kickers, well last slope I went to had a small kicker and i was completly fine with that.
