alrighty then...
They are awesome though! It's always frustrating waiting at the bottom of the lift for them to finish control work, but then one goes off and you watch an entire bowl cut loose and then you're like... uh, I'm good do your thing!

Being in a St. Paddy's day mood and far from avi territory, I first thought this must be a new variation of an Irish Car Bomb (e.g. Jager Bombs)
...the more I think about it, I think there should be a drink called an "avi bomb", any suggestions?

You're not suppose to have explosives in the backcountry without a permit. The heli's can use them in the Wasatch since they are licensed. On TGR they have a rather large thread in regards to bombing stuff in the BC.
