Ok I just got into snowboarding this season and will be going by the skin of my teeth this weekend. I am clinging on to this season like I cling to my cell phone, which you'll probably do after you leave your computer and venture off out the house. There has to be a SBA or treatment for the "season's over blues". Where are all of you hanging out lol? Is there some secret island snowboarders go to when the "season" is over. I want in! If anyone, preferably newbies are out there suffering the same symptoms vent with me. Feel free to drop some advice OG and veteran boarders.

Got 10 inches here lastnight, another 5-10 expected tonight. Seasons hanging on.

I've got another 50 plus days of riding

out here in socal we just got 18 inches.

but take up skating or find a summer hobby, i scuba dive!

It hasn't snowed here for like 2 weeks...

Haha, sorry I can relate. My first day on a snowboard was the last day of a full season of skiing. By the end of a frustrating day I figured it out and was hooked. Once you experience that smooth feeling of linking turns and just the freedom of riding the mountain, it's addicting!

I spent all spring, summer and fall dreaming about snowboarding. Literally. I constantly had really vivid dreams about riding, it was torture! That was 18 years ago so I'm sorry I can't remember how I coped. Get outside & wakeboard, skate, mountain bike etc...cliff jumping is a good adrenaline fix!

This offseason I plan on spending some time conditioning my body for next winter!

LOL, when I first started it was just as the season was ending.
I had all my new gear and didn't even get to try it out.

im right there with you dude. i just got back into riding and im stretching this season as far as i can.
