Hey all, that time of year again. Snowboard as fast as you can accross water.
My hill does this every year, idea is that about 100 people go to the top of the mountain get going do as fast a possible and try and get accross about 75 feet of water. Everyone that makes is goes back and and does the same thing from half way up. Repeat, untill one guy left. I need some pointers on how i can be the last dude standing. I usally do well, 3-4 rounds, but i just cant get that extra 5 feet i need to win. So here are the questions: 1) Quick wax after each round? 2) Pop into the water, max distance before hitting? 3) Try and pump in the water to make a fish-like movement? Anything else? |

Iv got a 162 ROAM machine Wide. Cant get much bigger. Might try and find a straight up powder board... not sure if the "V" tail would help or not.
I usally do stay still, and that works super well for the first few rounds when speed is not an issue. Once we get 1/8th of the run left, everyone left knows that no one can make it the entire way it comes down to who can make it the farthest. I just need a way to get an extra 2-3 feet. Bottle rockets? lol |
