Just a heads up that the Snerds (Snowboard Nerds) website is live
The Snerds is the digital megaphone of four instructors that live to share their snowboard experiences. It all started over some pre-shred breakfast where we had an “aha moment”. We realized that snowboard instruction, technology and the culture is all we talk about. So why not share it and build a community that enjoys it as much? And that brings us to today where we thank you for checking us out and invite you to participate, give us feedback and more importantly come ride with us. Make sure to subscribe on Facebook, Twitter or by email and keep tabs on what we are up to. They also gave SA a review that can be found here: Snowboard Addiction Freestyle Program Review Geeks of Shred!

I haven't had computer access for the past 3 days as I've been in transit from the US to Niseko, Japan (which as it turns out is a hell of a trip...more on that later). Anyways I just saw this post and read the responses and I would like to clear a few things up.
First of all, TheSnerds.com Is a blog I started a few months ago with a few other instructors. Yes, its hosted on wordpress because we found that to be the easiest vehicle to use. Its a fun project we started in order to voice our perspective on a lot of different aspects of snowboarding. Thats it. We did a review of the snowboard addiction freestyle program (and no we didn't get paid to..as nice as that would be.) I stand behind what I had to say about the program (I wrote the article). I've only been a member of this forum for a few months, and I like it here. I've never come on and plugged my blog, spammed anyone, etc. I follow a lot of threads and try to contribute where I can...thats about it. Thats all I really wanted to say..sorry for the long post. You can check out our blog, or not...either way its all good. I just wanted to make clear that its a real entity, not spam, and very unpaid! Now that that's said..on to important things. It snowed the whole train ride from Sapporo to Niseko! Niseko is a complete ghost town...the combination of late season with the news reports following the Earthquake/Tsunami have cleared the place out. Overall, I still think Japan is a very safe place to be (assuming you don't plan any field trips to Fukushima) and I figured that the best way to show my support was to come as planned. I am so stoked to be riding here tomorrow! -hanna |

I'm also a big fan of chocolate chip...still melty in the middle please. Infinite eclipse...that was well played. Also, my opinion is that BA's website is one of the best snowboard blogs out there. No i don't think that is going to help me get any cookies (maybe you could get your intern to make some?) But credit where credit is due...Angrysnowboarder is the shit and I follow it on a very regular basis.
