Why do you need a season pass? It's not like you'll be able to go often since you're like 15 and your parents have no interest in snowboarding.

Even still, with a season pass he'll probably go riding more than without. Plus, wtf is he going to do with gigs of mediocre GoPro videos? Save the GoPro for for when you actually have some sick shit to film.

Pass comes first for me. But in your case, you might want to ask for some cash towards a used car or some coupons for rides to the mountain from your parents.

dude youre from nj and you cant think of a good mountain to get a pass at?

lets see:

Mountain Creek
Camelback
Hunter
Jack Frost/Big Boulder
Shawnee
Blue
Elks
and about 30 others. I know mountain creek has specials on next years seasons passes right now..im sure alot of other mountains do also.

season pass hands down.

but before even thinking about getting it, are you gonna be up there enough to make your money back on it?

ex:
season pass: $500
lift ticket: $70
so if you don't go at least 7 times, your wasting money.

make sure your not wasting any money that could be used on something else, especially at the age of 15. you could ask for money and save it for when you grow and you need a new board/binding/boots.
