I figured it was time to start doing my own tune-up, but I noticed everyone has there own little technique for securing their board.

Do you prefer snowboard vises or a household MacGyver setup? Feel free to display pictures if you have any. =)

I personal was thinking Push-up Holders would do the job. I don't mind working on the ground versus a bench or table.

I just used a box. Worked fine. However since so many people waxed their boards at our house,a nd I have a 100 dollar REI giftcard to burn, and the burton vise was so cheap (40 bucks) I went ahead and bought it. Makes it so much easier, with the suction cups (might not work so well on the carbonium tops so the swix might be better there) the board doesn't move

Essential? NO. Helpful? Sure

I've got 2 sinks in my bathroom that share the exact same spacing as my bindings. So, my bindings go in the sink, with the backs kinda resting on the "lip" of the sink, and it's pretty darn secure that way. The hardest part is lining everything with newspaper to collect wax drippings, but that's a minor inconvenience at worst.
