If by vise you mean the backs of the chairs for my kitchen table, then yeah I totally have a vise. If you mean an actual snowboard vise, then no, they're expensive and I'm cheap.
I just used a box. Worked fine. However since so many people waxed their boards at our house,a nd I have a 100 dollar REI giftcard to burn, and the burton vise was so cheap (40 bucks) I went ahead and bought it. Makes it so much easier, with the suction cups (might not work so well on the carbonium tops so the swix might be better there) the board doesn't move
I've got 2 sinks in my bathroom that share the exact same spacing as my bindings. So, my bindings go in the sink, with the backs kinda resting on the "lip" of the sink, and it's pretty darn secure that way. The hardest part is lining everything with newspaper to collect wax drippings, but that's a minor inconvenience at worst.
