any suggestions where I should go to ride ?
First full season riding, pretty down about the season being over. Can't imagine waiting 7 months to ride again. I live out east in Pennsylvania and am looking to vacation somewhere to ride. I know there are options for late summer out west, but was just wondering what's out there during may, june or even july?
Looking at a list of resorts, pretty wild seeing how many close down even with a big base early in April. I found a couple that MIGHT make it to may 1st in the east, maybe it's better just to hold out till June or July and head out west if there are places out west? any suggestions or just deal with the season being over? |

whistler is pretty cheap right now, going up pretty soon.
i would advise going. |
April 24th Breck and Copper close then A basin will stay open till June 7th. Loveland closes I think early May. Mammoth should stay open till the 4th of July. Timberline should be opening their spring park and parts of that mountain right about now and will be open till August. Snowbird is open till I think late May as well.

There are tons of places to ride but you have to hike.....but you probably are talking about "riding" a chair.

You could start planning for an out of the country trip. There is good riding in Chile, or even New Zealand.
Otherwise, Arapahoe Basin stay open until early June and possibly later if they get snow. Mt. Hood in Oregon stays open into late May. |

like others said, best late season options besides the bird include Mammoth and A basin. |
