Angry Winter is over here

Ok, so it has been in the 40s to 50s at our local slope for the past 2-3 weeks, and i just checked the forecast for this friday and its supposed to be raining with a high of 55 or something like that. My point is, this warm weather isn't clearing up, so i am pretty sure winter ended at the begging of febuary for us, which really sucks. I really hope it cools back down, but with this current weather pattern, and march approaching, I am almost certain that it will not. This is really pissing me off, since I have only gotten to go to the slopes twice since I got into it later into the season. here is the forecast, let me know what you guys think about this...

there is also always that occasional day that might be more like winter, like tuesday in the current forecast, but yea, its always something like tuesday! I live 2 hours away from my slope and have class that day!

I went boarding last weekend or so with my family and it was in the 70s. It was hoooooot lol! Granted I live in SoCal and the resort we tried was at the base of the mountains (8,000 feet?).

Gee that's too bad. My last trip to Banff is scheduled for the third week in May and I'm sure there will be several in between. I'll be sure and try to post some pictures for you.

My experience and what I do in snowboarding is really quite
independent of the industry and the more independent it is,
the more pure and better I feel about snowboarding.- Craig Kelly

At this point, I honestly just want spring. We've had a shitty winter here in CNY and todays it's raining again. I just want to paintball at this point. I got enough boarding in earlier this season

life IS good.

jeesh, sounds like you guys need to move to good ol wisconsin. As of this moment it has been snowing for 8 straight hours and we're suppose to get 8-10 inches today/tonight. Not to mention we just got another 6 inches thursday.

i was thinking about getting some of my frineds together here at school and taking a road trip out west for a boarding trip during our spring break (starts the first of march) but i don't know if that would be a good idea, because I have only been to montana once in my life (lol, yellowstone) and never driven out there, and none of us have a 4x4 car at the moment.

oh well, and as for the comment about pball, damn, wish i had the money to get back into it, but thats why i sold all my stuff. had a angel g7 and everything. but everytime i went to the field, with field pant and field dues, it would be like $100 or over a day, and i didn't have money for that. oh well, at least i have skateboarding.

and too much snow!? damn, i wish i could come close to even making a comment like that around here. that would be nice.

Now if only the mountains could switch over that quickly. there is always a month or 2 of mud season where I want to go nuts stuck at home.

HAHAHA, colorado has gotten rediculous storms this year. lots of resorts are at annual average snofall already and we still have 2-3 months left.

wolf creek has been getting storms upwards of 90 inches. monarch, silverton, crested butte, steamboat have been getting near similar...
