So this was my first year snowboarding and I went 7 times until I broke my wrist in February. I can't wait to get back out there but I live in NY, so I have a long wait ahead of me. I was crusing down blues on my last day there and was doing petty good. After a long layoff do people tend to struggle? Will my first day back be a lot of falling or after a run or two I'll be good to go?
I know everyone is different but im just curious about what generally happens. |

9 months isn't too long. Sounds like you broke your wrist near the end of the season so you're in the same boat as most people who have to wait that long until the snow starts back up. As said, you shouldn't lose too much. You'll have it back in no time, I'd be more worried about the mental blocks from the injury and not from the down time. I've always been a little more timid coming back off an injury than a long hiatus
