Default Great interview on Buoloco

Bob Klein hits the nail on the head with this one. This is super relevant, especially for kids and people in a transitional period of their life. Instead of dreaming about being the next Ipod (everyone would love the option to have that life) think about what would happen if you weren't the next Ipod - what would you sacrifice and endure (how many shitty jobs, how many breakups, how much shit from people around you, including family and friends) in order to keep riding - because to keep riding is what its all about.

Anyway, he says it much better:

Bob did nail it and I can say I'm doing what it takes to ride 150 days a season.

I can't watch the video at the moment but I can already tell that I am on the same page to a certain extent.

I was in a seven year relationship that took almost everything I love and I'll never let that happen again.

I lost myself for a while but now I'm back and once again it's much easier for me to essentially say, "fuck you, I'm doing what I love" if I have to...

Bob is a great guy. I had the fortune of hanging out with him on Berthoud Pass earlier this season. He is definitely worth listening too.

This video has been popping up everywhere today!

It's funny for me to watch this because at the beginning of this season I was totally ditched by a guy who essentially told me he didn't have time for me because he'd decided that his riding was going to come first this winter. I looked at the many sacrifices he was making in his life (work, living situation, friends, even family to some extent) just to snowboard and I thought he was crazy... until he took me snowboarding. I fell in love with it and I actually left my soul-sucking mandatory overtime cubicle job to snowboard more. And I'm broke and have no idea what I'm going to do next but I totally think it has been worth it. I love how he says its not a dream, its reality. Good stuff.
