Default La!!!

So I just moved here and need to find some good shops. Good people, not dumb, and sell good shit. Clearly would prefer Arbor and Signal... But whatever.

If you got addresses that'd be super

Why in God's Name would you move to stinky L.A? I'm curious how the shops are there, I have a feeling they're going to be a bit Ed Hardy-ish

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Because when you live in CO your whole life you make it your god damn destiny to move to the least CO like place. Now go down to the rainbow room on the strip and get me fucking Lemmy's autograph!

Val Surf - old school...selection is a bit limited imo but in LA county
Skateboards, Skate Clothes, Snowboards, Snow Clothes, Altamont, Analog, Nike SB, Emerica Shoes, Gravis, Kr3w, The Hundreds, Volcom, Vans, and more at Liberty Board Shop.com - far, in orange county (brea)
Surfboards, Wetsuits, Boardshorts, Surf Clothing & More ? Surfside Sports Surf Shop - this is where I bought my Westmark last season. Better selection. But located in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach.

For the most part, you kind of have to go to Bear Mtn to see shops with dedicated inventory. I usually wait til I go to Mammoth and hit up Wave Rave.

LA is full of board shops that sell lots of surf & skate stuff and dabble a little bit in snow. Surfside is the biggest and best of them that I've been to, but really not that much better than the little neighborhood spots because they're all pretty marginal overall. If I really need something specific I'll usually have to look around a lot to find it, or just wait for the next Mammoth trip and go by Wave Rave like Jimster. Take a look at the list of authorized dealers for the brands you're looking for and have a look around.

And I think a lot of us that have to live in LA all the time would love to move to Colorado for a while. A night out in Hollywood is a giant pain in the ass, and Lemmy smells terrible.

If you ever head down to the OC you might want to check out Surfside Sports. I've gone there for my board and my brothers. They have a pretty good selection, only shop I could find around me that sells never summer boards. The guys are super nice and can help you with anything.
