My 13 yr old boy got this and a few other SB videos, for Christmas and he just asked to borrow our old VCR. I asked why. He said he wants to watch some movies in his room. So I hook up the VCR and we put in the movie. I sat down and couldn't get up.

Trev said, "look how old those bindings are, I never seen anything like that." Didn't have the courage to say those are just like my Bent Metal bindings on my board from 2 years ago. We were both able to name some of the tricks we saw them doing.

Since I wasn't into SB'ing back in the old days and I am a converted skier. I could laugh and did see humor in the stuck up ness of skiers and coolness of the boarders. As I somewhat remember boards just getting to the hills out here when I stopped skiing.

So are there any actual cool or neat movies, or trick demonstration/teaching type movies or DVD's out. Most of you know I have the SA videos, maybe looking for something similar but not as technical. Hell anything the boy may enjoy, you kinda know what I mean I hope.

Still good father/son time. Just thought I'd share.

If you've never watched "Out Cold", then I recommend it. It's a pretty good comedy flick that you should both enjoy. It won't teach you to snowboard, but it will entertain you.
