A-Basin opens tomorrow!

Who's going to be there?

With only an 18" base I wouldn't bring my good board; sounds like a core shot waiting to happen.

I'll be in attendance.

18" is plenty for where they'll have open

WROD shit show... do not want

I'll start up my resort riding once they get enough terrain open that it's not like a Mad Max style death slalom.

I was just telling Milo on Facebook that I was there for opening day the season before last. I can't believe no one died. There were hordes of people on those two runs of all different abilities from barely able to stay upright to legit rippers. It was a recipe for disaster. I took two runs and went home happy to have survived them.

Nice- reminds me of Loveland last year. Peeps spillin' in front of you, others landing airs from all directions, everyone converging on the same booter at the same time- it was nuts!

I did one ride down and spent the rest of the awesome day sippin' brews watching the disaster unfold from a far.

Oh sooo many funny opening day memories, most of them ending with me taking 2 runs and then sitting in a lawn chair at the bottom of the hill drinking beer watching the insanity.

So between this and participating in something like say, Running of the Bulls, which one is higher on the proverbial bucket list?
