I'm lucky enough to have an indoor slope 30 mins from where I live (Welcome To Snowplanet - Snowplanet)
Despite it being crappy man-made snow the park features there give me my weekly fix!

how big are these places?

I really think the Twin Cities would be a prime location for indoor snowboarding. Shit they could put it in the Mall of America and it would be a zoo.

I would love to have somewhere to get some laps in for the 6-7 months we don't have snow.

"At Snowplanet you can ski, snowboard, toboggan, and dine at our world class facility. Our slope is 200m long and includes a Terrain Park with jumps & rails plus a ski line and beginner’s area."

It's built on a hill overlooking the motorway

i think everyone here is wetting their pants anxiously waiting for their resorts to open...today it was seventy fucking five! WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! i hope the warm weather just switches off here in the next week or so and it gets cold. But aside from that i curb my withdrawls by longboarding, doesent do enough but it helps.
