Went on over to the Forum website to see what set-up John Jackson was using in Art of Flight and there's no info on him. Did he leave Forum? And does anyone know what board-binging combo he was using?
I was a little disappointed at first since the Forum video is usually one of the funnest to watch every year, but with that much more money and on a team that doesn't own your soul for videos means JJ now gets to film with whomever he wants. Cause he's JJ. and hes that Gnar. I expect to see a full part (or 2) in Absinthe as well as cameo's in Transworld and Standard for 2013. I'm thinking maybe a part of himself as well as a tri part with him Muller and Blauvelt.
I saw Vacation last night and it was still pretty banger. They always put out a sick part. Of course Pat Moore had an incredible part as well as Jake Welch.
Vacation was awesome and i personally feel that John J is now more suited for burton. He had banger parts but yeah, the team is definately super solid still, since Blauvelt left it kind of seemed like an out-of place team cause John J is the only rider on the forum squad dedicated to powder (all pow part). but Vacation is definately up there in the top movies of the season, forum always has a super sick video that gets me stoked to shred! definately watch vacation if you haven't, and if you have, then wait for 8 mile life's Vacay, thats gonna be an aweeeeeeeesome video!
There's an interview with him on the ESPN snowboarding page.
He basically said Burton opened up more doors for him, and that he wanted to do more big mountain freestyle type stuff, instead of more park/urban freestyle like Forum is into.
