probably based from person to person depending on how fit (or relatively) you are. if you do other similar activities (i.e. surfing or skateboarding), then it would take you almost no time at all. if you lounge all summer, then it would probably take a few days to get back to your level.
You can alway do a bit of training to get back into shape a few weeks before the season start so you dont get tired out on the first day
