Default Could someone please turn on the AC in PA...

Supposed to be 60 deg tomorrow...I love cycling and all but I'm ready to do some snowboarding and all this warm weather is starting to piss me off.

Then move west.

I feel no sympathy for people that complain about no snow/crappy conditions in the midwest/east/southern/south west.

I think it was supposed to be a lighthearted post.

I am sure most people have real lives and can't pack up and move west to snowboard.

yea this really sucks. I mean, not that I was expecting to ride this soon, but there isn't even any hope for soon,...or even 2 weeks or 3! for that matter unless we get a good couple snows and at least 7 SOLID days of COLD temps and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW humidity to make some ok snow. You know it's crazy when I haven't had to worry at all yet about frozen patches on the road.

Just keep in mind that it is still early. It's going to be a boring season for weather I think but I have faith that sometime in Dec we will get what we need ALL THE SUDDEN and open in full swing across the state with only a small delay. I do believe that we will have some rain events and a pretty mundane winter that will require more snowmaking than usual; however I think we will get a couple good dumpings toward the end of the season that will require a note from the doc to enjoy midweek as they will be quickly tainted with rain shortly thereafter making the weekend terrain poo.

Such is life, take what you can get and make the best of.

I know where I live (Western NY) snowboarding isn't realistic until late December.

Living out west, the high temps don't bother me as long as the snow in the mountains stays reasonably OK. hitting up the pool on a 70+ degree day after riding all morning is always a good time.
