Default how come shaun white gets the biggest air in pipe and still no one else?

saw the dew tour highlights and SW still gets massive air. other than that not sure how his score was so much higher, his run was like:

- big 180
- dub cork 9
- 540
- fs rodeo 5
- dub mikey
- bs rodeo 5

saw bits of ipod's run and he had:

dub mikey
dub cork 10
switch dub cork 10

he did mess up his line a little though.

Big names draw bigger crowds which draw higher scores.

Obviously I have no idea how to judge that shit, I though Vito had the cleanest run.

Seeing it in person it was crazy how much higher, more powerful and smoother SW was with his run.

Smoother? Seemed like he was all flailing arms. But then what do I know, I'm no pipe expert.

I concede that the dude got more air than anyone else. It was evident even on TV.

I also didn't watch any of the finals. I was inly there Friday during the semi finals... matt ladles had a very smooth, strong run but no one knows him... he should have placed higher than 6... chas was killing it on slopestyle but judging is strange sometimes.... he Prolly should have made the podium. Luke mitrani was throwing down some really nice pipe runs too but kinda got shafted at11th

Sorry for sounding dumb but how the hell do you get to the point of being able to identify what they are doing in the pipe? To me it always looks like a bunch of derp spins, so confusing. I am just learning in the park, the technical terms and shit.

I know nothing about SW's schedule, but my guess would be that his endorsement deals means that he doesn't have to spend as much time hustling for cash as other riders. Might give him more time to practice on the half pipe that most other folks have.

Dunno. That is how Jordan stayed better than everyone else. Prepared longer/harder than everyone else.
