Same thing in Utah, we've been stuck in this same shit weather pattern since the beginning of November, good news is that pattern has finally broken up and things are changing as we speak.

What the change is going to bring to CO\UT no one knows but at this point ANY change in the jetstream is a good thing

I moved up here from San Antonio 7 months ago. Believe me, it beats the snow in TX. My son is on the mtn daily, 35 days so far at Vail mtn. We usually just spend 4-5 weeks in wolf creek where the snow is much better than vail but we can still cruise down the mtn, he hits the park every run....

Yeah I hate the Texas heat, but the good thing is that we have a cabin in Edwards Colorado, so I just need to decide whether to come up or not

If it's possible to move it back I would. Most everyone is saying it's gonna stay dry through at least mid-January.

concerning breck and keystone:

things are about half open. The parks are about 50-60% ready. Breck has their 3 mid size jumps open, and I think freeway is open. They're working hard so I wouldn't be surprised if they finish off the mid size park this week. Keystone has the big line done, and the mid line done. Rails out the ass as usual.

as far as the snow itself, it's pretty much all fake. going close to the trees is still a bad idea, lots of rocks and roots sticking out on the side of the trails.

Coming up the weekend of the 27th of next month. I'm hoping they get dumped on before that. That would be unreal to be into February without a significant base
