LOST!: GoPro Hero2 at Durango Mountain Resort

i realize there is little hope for me but maybe this post and my information at lost n found will be enough to get my camera back
it was mounted to my board coming off the main life and heading towards lift 3...lost somewhere between Airmail and Nirvana
i left my info at guest services and even hiked back up when i realized it was lost and did the run a few more times with no luck - theres a slim chance it rolled into the trees since i stayed in the middle of the run most of the time
even if its found and not turned in, i cant say i blame you because its a sweet camera - but at least give me the courtesy of returning my disk with my footage :(

note: mods if this isnt the right place feel free to move the thread

You're not the first person I've heard of who lost their camera due to it being mounted on their board

ya but most people figure they cant do anything w/ a phone - this is a camera lol
i hope someone does turn it in tho - shitty thing was i thought about making a leash for it this morning and totally didnt do it
regretting that decision....

i found a way to make a leash for it though
if you have a board leash or something laying around you can actually take the clip mount that bolts to the housing and thread the leash in the slot
you'll have to sand down the pivot of the housing so that it will seat properly (unless your leash is flat enough that it doesnt matter)
presto - instaleash and never lose your camera again :(:(
