If you guessed snowboarding...you would be wrong.

with the snowboarding conditions (or lack there of) still absolutely terrible and unseasonably warm weather, we thought it would be a novel thing to do, on JANUARY 2ND, so we (our usual crew of 4) went dirt biking and did a little off roading. never before would i have imagined going riding on the second of january, but it was alot of fun and it turned out to be a great day

Fuck yeah! Make the best of it my friend, as long as it's outdoors I approve. It's funny because I actually went on a mountain bike ride on Saturday(my pass was blacked out for tourist season), and had a goddamn blast. Weather was in the 50's, the trail was snow but it was broken so we were able to ride it. Rode about 4 miles uphill in the snow, and enjoyed an epic ride back downhill. Then I went snowbaording on Sunday. Ahh good weekend.

hardly...brundage got enough to just open last friday...and then it rained. im waiting to go to brundage till it has enough snow that they can actually groom the whole mountain, then it tells me there might be enough that i can ride off trail with out hitting every stump and log on the mountain. its not like i cant go ANYWHERE...sun valley is open, but their base is only 23" and i dont like sun valley unless there is really good pow, especially for the 80 dollar lift ticket
