So the other day at my local mtn some tool was calling me a "flaker". Never heard that one before haha. Well come to find out he was saying that because all my gear matches. Who gives a rat's ass! Yea ill admit it, my jacket is red, my pants black, and my board is a k2 parkstar that is also red and black. So basically he was trash talking me to his douchebag long ass tee skier friends. Ill be the first to admit this, im not the most amazing boarder but i go out there and attempt to throw down because i want to learn. So long story short, i see the douche later in the day and you will never guess what happens....
The dude fell off a rail and his ski got caught in his long ass tee and cut right under his face. So i ride by him and say who's the "flaker" now.

Sorry about my rant but just want to say that karma's a bitch!

I thought buying it matching was the logical choice. Why would I at the store get a random set up if I could make everything look twice as good for the same price. Now if ya start sacrificing quality over looks or spend a lot more than you should for the only purpose of looking cool then that's a problem.

oh great story, i love karma. The guy was just a straight up idiot. Why would you not try to somewhat match your gear? im not saying the matching pants and jacket combo thing because that sort of looks dumb, but i want my gear to flow. Plus what does that guy know about matching? What could be matching to him might just be some colors the conveniently go together for you.

hahaha thats funny. Yea i always liked my flow to go together. I didnt try to match the board on purpose. It won the TWS good wood award so i decided to pick it up. Plus i heard it was a great board
