Default Office Space, the movie

Just watching this movie for the first time in a while, don't feel like ice boarding today. I'm so glad I'm not living in the city anymore, god damn I don't miss that bullshit.... Just thought I would put that out here....

agreeable response: been a while for sure, me either, and the bullshit in the city is certainly more abundant than the cow shit in the country, ride on man

I know what you mean.

If I could make the living I do in a city in the country (preferably mountain country), I would. But there aren't many opportunities/possibilities for someone like me outside of population centers. I guess it is a cost of being specialized and in a field where "remote working" is unrealistic.

I live in a big city... and like anything, life is what you make of it. I don't like having to come in 5 days a week for 8-9 hours a day... but I do like that my paycheck and recreation (for the most part) is unaffected by seasonal concerns.

I hope that you guys get some snow out there. There will be a lot of people hurting otherwise.

There are already lots of people hurting in more than one way. We had a Record month in dec because of hard snow pack breaking people, I work in the hospital.... Not a great record... Business Is down so alot of people working in the resorts and restaurants are getting shorted hours and lower tips for sure. I'm fortunate that my job, hours and pay is not hurt either way in the seasonal changes or lack there of...
