Default I-70 Corridor is Looking Pretty Good Right Now (Snow!)

Looks like my new snow tires on the AWD car are finally going to be put to their intended use! Nothing like shelling out the $$$ for new snow tires and rims and having nothing but endless dry roads to drive on . Just checked out the webcams on cotrip.org and I-70 is looking pretty white up and down the mountain corridor all the way into Denver. I've been pretty cynical about the snowfall this year but even I'm thinking tomorrow might be a minor pow day.

I'm heading up tomorrow morning... hopefully traffic isn't too bad. Hope to be on the road at 6:30am.

My buddies are at Vail right now (or just left) and said theres a good 6" down already and its still snowing.

Maybe I will take the sled up on monday and tuesday.....

This snow won't open any new terrain I'm guessing

Anyone know if any of the back bowls of vail are open?

Still closed. Pretty much the whole front side and game creek bowl is open.

It's a fucking MESS. Roads are as slick up here as I've ever seen. For the second year in a row, a Subaru has flipped over the guardrail on our road.

Just unbelievably slick.

You driving up from the city?

Has it cleared up, up there or is still slick / snowing?

Nope, live in Evergreen. Still snowing, still a mess.
