Granted this is just a facility for testing engines, and the clouds happen to be a byproduct. BUT it got me thinking, of how there is a possibility to 'create' weather, and have a powder day, everyday!

It'd make for a very nice place for deaf people to ski/snowboard.

You're right though, it'd be sweet. I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually. Contrails have been theorized to affect weather, I'm sure they can figure out how to make some in a highly localized area.

Ground based cloud seeding already takes place, at least here in colorado.

I don't believe cloud seeding has ever been proven to work. Of course, it is inherently very difficult to prove. It's really only used when the conditions are already pretty ripe for precipitation. . .so did the the seeding make it rain/snow, or was it going to anyway.

Maybe someday we'll get that weather machine, though. As long as it isn't used for anything silly like farming.
