Forum sections for mountain reps

This is just a casual thought, as I sit here staring at all the new snow that's just fallen (gratuitous gloating ). There's been a lot of talk in recent threads about how NS represents on this forum and listens to the members. So I wonder if we could get the resorts to establish a presence? I'd love it if Seymour had a thread on here where you could actually talk with them about their park setup, hours, whatever. I think it would be priceless in terms of PR.

I expect we'd have a helluva time getting the first one to pony up, but I think once one resort was doing it we'd get less resistance.

This may be just a pipe dream, but it'd sure by nice...

Anyone have any contacts they could prod?

The problem I see is the forum owners will soon try to turn it into cash. Seen it countless times before.

I doubt that would happen here, this place is run by actual human beings.

It seems like a good idea, and I like it. I think our best bet, would be to get the 'facebook rep' to mirror on here. When they do their facebook updates, they come here as well.

We have a lot of SLC folks on here who shred Brighton, and Brighton is the type of resort who I think would be down for something like this. I don't have any 'connections' per se, but I know a few who work at Brighton and they could maybe slide it down the line and see what happens.

Maybe if we got everyone to send an email to their resort, preferably around the same time, it might help our chances. That way they can see how many people they are actually catering to, and not wasting their time.
