Arrow Watch Out!!!

Yeah, that's the last thing I heard before being taken out by some dick faced kid blasting down the run, out of control. He clipped me hard, as we both ended up tumbling down the mountain for a good 15 meters. I wasn't hurt, but he seemed shaken up, and stayed down for some time.

It's not until I was on the lift that I noticed a 5cm gash on the tip of my board … he tore right through my top sheet. Moth#%$^ker! Luckily libT doesn't make the all-around metal edge, so I brought it down to the shop, and the fella said it wasn't that bad, that I should get some epoxy and seal it so that the water doesn't get in there and expand even more …

what do you think, any other options at this point. here are some pics …

+1 on that. Couldve ended worse though.

Thats bad, but whats worse i think, is when i was teaching a lesson once at my mountain and one of my students got taken out by one of those assholes. Explaining what happened to the parents was so much fun!

Glad nobody got seriously hurt

Seems like this year has been extra heavy on injuries and accidents.... More than normal, maybe it's just me

Icy and man made snow are perfect for accidents, especially on crowded weekends. It's harder to stop, people are either learning or at their first outing of the season....avoid if you can and wait for better conditions. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt!

Not on the skunk ape!

Seriously though it could of been much worse for either of you two or even your board for that matter. Glad to hear that you are ok. The gash looks pretty nasty but some epoxy and maybe even a rivet (the cut might not be long enough) to hold it all together.

yeah, once I regained myself, i did the "squeeze/flex my muscles" test to see if anything hurts, and everything was okay. Screw the board, could have been worse, but it still sucks now that I have to go and look for epoxy, clamps, and this bullshit.
