Rode in slush for my first time yesterday and at times it felt like I was riding on glue. I had a tough time going edge to edge and my thighs are a little sore today. I rode 3 times in the past 2 weeks, so it's not like I have been inactive. Is this normal? Anyone have any tips?

Soft snow will make you work for it. Corn isn't bad but real slush is going to make you feel like glue because it will readily create surface tension from all the excess water. It's normal.
If you need more straight line speed, graphite wax will help. |

I love riding slush. Not what I'd want to ride all the time, but riding slush in June in 60 degree weather and a t-shirt pond skimming down streams in the snow? Hell yeah!
