I ride the 180 Birdman here at Hakkoda in Japan. We get no less than a foot a day. Sometimes over two feet overnight. I love every second of it. Super floaty and has the side cut of a 160~ so it's super easy to turn compared to the length. Tight trees at 35 degrees no problem. You will not even be close to disappointed. I'm 6'3" 220lbs. I have videos in the Trip Reports section under "50 days or bust" thread. Look for Hakkoda and Geto videos. Both are with 180 Birdman.

I'm 6'3" and anywhere between 180 and 200 and if it was me, I'd go with the 170. Of course, I actually would probably be looking for something shorter than that, even for a powder dedicated stick. But I like to ride my decks a little shorter than recommended anyway.
