Europe getting hit hard resulting in deaths with some parts getting record lows.

Alaska getting hit hard for cause of a moose emergency.

Even the earth was bombarded by a large solar storm last week.

When will it be North America's turn? (but no deaths please)

You never know, but the way this Winter has operated so far isn't really indicating that we will be seeing any super extreme events happening. On average in the U.S temperatures have been above normal and precipation below normal. It's raining here right now

Interesting thing about Alaska is that they've been seeing persistent inversion layers, meaning it's been significantly colder in the valleys (where people live) than the mountains.
