Worst advice ever! And you have the audacity to call yourself a fake doctor.

OP - What has happened, is that you might have bumped your head. The reason that you had the head ache is probably for two reasons, one - you'd ridden all day and were dehydrated, and two - mild concussion and lost of brain electrons.

The remedy is to hydrate with a sugary drink, preferably something like absinthe or bicardi151, then replace the electrons. How you do this is by placing alu-foil, or tin foil on your head, jimmy-ing the door of a microwave open, putting your head in and turning it on. The microwave will supply new electrons in the form of electricity to your brain through the alu-foil. Maybe go for about a minute, and this will cure your headache. If not, repeat absinthe and go for another minute in the microwave. In my non-professional opinion, it is best to make sure you have the alu-foil securely on your head before drinking the absinthe. Take 2 days off of work and you should be good!

Dont do stupid shit. If you've not jumped jumps, hit the small stuff first then progress up. Im near on retarded and even I know that. Finally, Go see a real doctor (or maybe a psychologist) about your head.

<Sigh> Guilty as charged!

2 season back I went from little 1.5 ft jumps (the ones that launch you onto boxes and rails) straight to the big jump at the top of Freeway 8 at Breck. No cuts to chop speed. Figured that a ~5 mph differential wouldn't make much of a difference either way!

Well, I survived, but separated my shoulder and had to take the next day off! I was good to ride the rest of the trip, but it hurt (and no more huge jumps for me!). Lesson learned.... I am extremely picky about what I ride in the park (and how long I stay there).

He hit his head so hard it caused the electrons to jump off his atoms! I wonder if he emitted light (any physicists here)?

OP...Wow! never go for a big jump like this again until you are EASILY landing small and medium one. Additionally, it sounds as if the kicker had a lot of woo to it and gave you way more vertical height than forward distance. When scoping out park features which you should do before hitting them, look at how the kicker is going to launch you.

If there is a lot of vertical, you are going to have to go very fast to make the landing and you will get very high off the ground doing it. I don`t like these kind at all as I hate heights. I have cleared 30 foot tables easily IF the takeoff ramp provides a flatter trajectory. Conversely, I wont hit a 10 footer if there is so much woo to the ramp that it sends me 15 feet up to get that 10 feet forward. I fucking hate park crews that build these kickers like that and don't also build a flatter one next to it.

Easy does it on this and smart style it. Do not listen to fucktards who tell you to "go big or go home" These people will get you hurt.
yes, my brains are goo. 40 going on 12. Although, none of the 12 year olds , or 20 year olds for that matter had the guts to hit these jumps. They apparently had something else, brains. Hey what can I say, I spend my week thinking and thinking, solving problems and then Friday something happens.

Thanks snowolf for the insight, lesson learned. Look for smaller kickers and watch others take them on, watch their speed and approach and results before attempting anything, even the smallest of jumps. Sigh, I just couldn't take not participating...

and yes heights suck, it's why I opted out of a business trip to Vegas..if I'm flying it better be for something outstanding like 30" of powder.

Quanta are emitted when the electrons drop back to the lower energy level.

(Yep).

You're 40 wtf are you doing just trying to mob into a jump when by your own admission you've never been in the air. Your air awareness is 0 and your jump ability is nill. It's people like you that get broken in the park and then either sue or die and your family sues that fucks it for the rest of us. Your actions go further than you think and at 40 one might hope that your head had finally been shit out of your ass and you would know this, but it seems much like most of civilization it isn't.

Now you want medical advice from a bunch of us that are not doctors nor there to physically inspect you? Go to a fucking doctor, stay the fuck out of the park for Christ sakes your bones are like dust, and if you do decide you want to ride park why the fuck wouldn't you start small or go get a park lesson. Seriously people like you are the reason I'm an asshole in the park these days. Last guy that died in our park nearly your age and had no reason to be in there and sent it off our 45 footer to head and died on impact.
