Default 8 year-old's first run boarding vid :)

Sorry can't figure out how to embed.

After 25 years off the slopes I'm back into boarding and have also introduced my 8 year-old daughter to it. After one trip to the mountain she is hooked and I couldn't be more proud!

First run ever or first run outside of the bunny slopes? Thats pretty impressive for a true first run ever.

I get the heeby-jeebies whenever I see someone going down the hill in scorpion stance.

First run after her lesson was over. This is actually the smallest slope on the mountain aside from the short sloped learning hill. We're going again this weekend for another lesson so she can start turning and hopefully hit a larger hill afterwards.

After her first couple of runs last weekend she asked, “Daddy, when can we go see the jumps.”

I'm impressed that she didn't catch an edge heelsiding down the hill like that.

That's awesome. Next step, slip slide left and right, then...the big next move, change to doing that slip sliding left and right toeside, then....turns!

by next year, she will be crushing you! (they learn so quick!)
