Hello everyone glad to be a part of the site. Alot of great info!
Ok background 6'1" 185 lb ex pro Motocross Started boarding at around 34, now 43 Same setup for all that time (totally the wrong setup lol) My setup is a sims fusion X 161 Stiff which i just realized is not for me. Burton step in bindings. After reading info here, Last night i put on my buddies ancient fat bob with strap in bindings and my world changed drastically. For the first time i was in total control and not the board. So i am at your mercy lol I need a solid combo for a board and bindings, Im thinking flow bindings cause i did not like all the strapping in. But for a board im so lost. |

A couple of questions first: What do you like to do most on your board? Where do you ride for the majority of the season? Moving forward what would you like to work on or progress to? When riding do you like to cruise more or very high speed technical? |

Wow that was fast !
Yes i mostly stick to bombing icy runs, I'm not looking for super fast speeds just a forgiving board that can handle it. and my progression would be bigger jumping. I think i have a camber now so yes i think im looking for a rocker type. Also i might make 1 trip a year to VT but im a every Sunday night at Icy poconos. Never Summer SL would be a great board. New forgiving shape but still rockets when you want it to. Im in NYC and teach all over from the Poconos to VT and NH and I ride a never summer evo with the same shape and it holds edge through anything. The shape will allow you to continue your riding at the level your at while advancing off jumps.
